Hi 👋🏼 It’s been 1yr now since the Ava Jewels shop went offline so I thought it was time to pop in and give you an update on what’s happening BTS 💗 this here is our Joni bird 🤍🕊 11mnths old now and an absolute delight!! As expected she is keeping my life and hands very full ✋🏼💕🤚🏼

I wasn’t sure how life with a baby and a handmade jewellery biz would go…1 year on its safe to say the two don’t really allow for each other to co-exist 😝 I’d previously shared that the shop may re-open in late 2021 but I’m here to let you know that I’m sorry, that won’t be happening. To come back to making jewels would mean neither my family or my making would get the attention they require, so I will stay committed to my role as full-time mumma for the moment until it feels right to get back in to the studio. I have some ideas and plans for how that can be done differently in 2022, so stay tuned! I really do look forward to re-entering that space with a new approach. It’s always been my space of healing and joy, so I feel it calling me gently. I will know when the time is right.
.
That said, I am doing the occasional Mala making workshop at The Craft Parlour // Australia and have one coming up on Nov 26th here’s the link… https://thecraftparlour.com.au/collections/workshops/products/intentional-mala-bead
🤲🏼📿 gosh these workshops are so beautiful!! It is such an honour and a blessing to be able to share this craft with the community. So please come along if you are located on the Gold Coast.

I’m so grateful to everyone that has reached out over the last year enquiring, checking in, gently asking when i’m back. Your support and patience is so so SO appreciated. I miss my work and it will be so so delicious to sink back in to it when the time is right. Until then, see you soon. And send coffee 😉☕️ #shesteething
