At an Ava Jewels Mala making workshop you get to embrace your inner creative and explore the history and art of sacred mala bead making. You will design and create a Classic Zen Rudraksha Mala: Based on traditional mala beads of the ancient yogis, this workshop uses the sacred rudraksha seed and gemstones to create your intention filled mala. You will also be taught the mindfulness practice of japa mala meditation as well as the healing significance of the many gemstone beads. This workshop is great for novice crafters and first time beaders and does not require hand knotting. Each attendee will be guided through the design and making of their tassel finish mala. The event takes 3hrs and is a truly beautiful opportunity to create something special from the heart.
